Classic kurnik on kefir with chicken and potatoes

For lovers of delicious homemade pastries, I want to offer a simple recipe for a classic chicken and potato chicken cooked with kefir. The baked goods turn out to be unusually appetizing and will please both children and adults. Try to cook and no one will remain indifferent.

Prepare the dough. Pour the required amount of kefir into the container in which you will knead the dough. Put the margarine in a bowl and then melt it in a water bath or in the microwave. Add to the container with kefir. Mix thoroughly with a whisk.

In a separate container, sift the required amount of wheat flour through a fine sieve, add baking soda and salt, mix thoroughly. Add dry ingredients gradually to liquid ingredients. Mix well.

Knead the resulting dough well, collect in a ball, place in a container and tighten with cling film, send it to the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

Prepare the filling. Peel the onions and chop finely. Wash the potatoes well, peel them with a peeler, and then cut them into small cubes. Wash the flesh of the chicken thigh well, pat dry with paper towels, and then cut into small pieces.

Combine potatoes with chicken and onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
