Classic dough for manti

The classic dough for manti requires a minimum of ingredients: an egg, water, flour, salt. It is convenient to knead the dough in a food processor, since the mass is quite tight, and in order to knead it qualitatively, you need to spend some effort. After the dough has been kneaded, we leave it alone for thirty minutes - during this time it will become more pliable and it will be easier to roll it out.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Sift wheat flour into a bowl of a food processor or a wide bowl.
step 2 out of 6
Separately, break the egg into a small container, add salt and warm water to it in the specified amount. Mix everything together with a fork or whisk until smooth.
step 3 out of 6
Pour the egg-water mixture into the sifted flour. We turn on the dough combine or start working with our hands. The task is to mix dry flour with a liquid mixture so that you get a smooth, tight dough that keeps its shape perfectly and does not stick to your hands.
step 4 out of 6
We spread the resulting mass on the table, wrinkle it with our hands so that it completely absorbs the flour.
step 5 out of 6
Then we roll a smooth ball out of the dough. We wrap it with cling film or place it in a bag and leave it that way at room temperature for twenty to thirty minutes.
step 6 out of 6
After that, knead the dough a little more and cut it into several parts. Roll each part thinly with a rolling pin, cut into squares of equal size, put the filling on them and form the manti.
