Strawberries with sugar, ground with a blender for the winter

As one of the options for raw strawberry jam, you are offered a recipe for making it with a blender, which allows you to get a good uniform texture of the workpiece. When you grind this berry with a blender, the strawberry puree turns out to be more liquid, so more sugar is added to it than with the standard proportion. Add some orange to the strawberries to add a new flavor to your jam.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Rinse freshly picked strawberries thoroughly with running water and only then peel them of sepals. Dry the washed berries with a paper towel. Peel the orange, divide into slices and remove the seeds and excess white streaks. Then grind the orange wedges in the bowl of your blender.
step 2 out of 5
Then put the prepared strawberries in a bowl to the orange and chop them until smooth. Choose the speed of the blender as you like.
step 3 out of 5
Pour the strawberry puree from the bowl into a separate glass or plastic container. Pour the calculated amount of sugar and citric acid to it and mix everything with a wooden spoon. Then cover the dishes with a towel and leave for 3 hours at home temperature. This time is needed for the sugar to completely dissolve and your raw jam has acquired the desired thick texture. Stir the jam periodically with a spoon.
step 4 out of 5
Dry the jars and boil the lids. For this workpiece, it is better to take them small, by half a liter. After 3 hours, mix the jam again and gently pour into the jars, filling them to the very top. Seal the jars immediately and store in a cool place.
step 5 out of 5
In the refrigerator, this jam is well stored for 2 months. For a longer period, increase the amount of sugar (for 1 kg of berries - up to 2 kg of sugar).
Delicious and successful preparations!
