Cranberry-lingonberry sauce for meat

Washed berries, chopped ginger, sugar are placed in a saucepan and everything is cooked until it boils. Next, the sauce is crushed with a blender, cooled and served with meat dishes. It turns out to be very tasty with a bright ginger flavor.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First, we sort out the berries of cranberries and lingonberries. We transfer them to a colander and rinse thoroughly under running water. We let it stand for some time so that all the excess liquid is glass.
step 2 out of 5
We also wash the ginger, peel it with a vegetable peeler and finely chop it with a knife or rub it on a fine grater.
step 3 out of 5
We send washed lingonberries and cranberries, chopped ginger, granulated sugar into a suitable saucepan and mix everything well.
step 4 out of 5
We put the pan on low heat and, stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Cook for a couple of minutes and remove from heat.
step 5 out of 5
We punch the resulting sauce with a blender or rub through a sieve. We leave it until it cools completely, put it in portioned containers and serve it to the table with meat dishes and fresh vegetables. This sauce goes especially well with beef. Bon Appetit!
