Apricot and orange compote

I like to roll compotes for the winter with a combination of various fruits and berries. Today I want to share, in my opinion, a compote with a perfect combination of ingredients. Compote of apricots and oranges tastes similar to the store-bought "Fanta".

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Prepare the necessary ingredients for a fragrant apricot and orange compote. Put ripe apricots in a sieve, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain.
step 2 out of 6
Wash and dry the orange, cut off half. Cut into circles, and then cut each circle into 4 parts.
step 3 out of 6
Prepare jars, wash thoroughly and sterilize in the oven or in a water bath. Pour boiling water over the lids. Place apricots and a few orange slices on the bottom of sterile jars.
step 4 out of 6
Pour the required amount of drinking water into a saucepan, add the required amount of granulated sugar. Stir and bring to a boil. Pour fruit jars with the resulting syrup.
step 5 out of 6
Cover and place in a towel-lined saucepan, pour warm water over the hangers of the jars, bring to a boil, reduce heat and sterilize for 20 minutes. Carefully remove the cans and roll up with a seaming machine. Turn the jars of the apricot and orange compote upside down.
step 6 out of 6
Leave as it is until completely cooled, covered with a tea towel or blanket. Then turn the jars over and move them to a cool, dark place for long-term storage.

Enjoy!
