Cherry plum compote is a tasty and healthy drink. To prepare it, you need a little cherry plum and sugar. The addition of other preservatives to the compote is not required, since the cherry plum itself contains a lot of acid in its composition, so the compotes with it are rich and tasty.

For compote, select a dense ripe cherry plum. We rinse it under warm running water and put it on a towel for 10-15 minutes to dry it. Next, we put the cherry plum in a pre-well washed jar. You do not need to sterilize the jar, since during the preparation process we will sterilize the compote.

Next, add sugar to the jar. It's much easier than making syrup.

Pour boiling water into the jar, filling it to the very top.

Prepare a container for sterilization: put a cotton towel or a piece of cloth on the bottom of the pan, pour 2/3 of the pan with water and put it on fire. When the water warms up well, immerse a jar of compote in it and cover it with a lid. After the water boils, reduce the heat to a minimum and leave the compote to sterilize for 8-10 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, we take the jar out of the pan using a grip and tighten the lid tightly. Turn the jar with compote upside down and leave to cool at room temperature.
