We prepare the watermelon: cut it into pieces, cut out the pulp, remove all the bones. Cut the selected pulp into small cubes.

Now we cook the syrup: pour water into the pan and add granulated sugar. Place the pot on the stove and bring it to a boil.

Put the chopped watermelon into the boiling syrup, mix gently, bring to a boil and cook for three to four minutes, no more, so that the tender pulp does not become porridge.

Wash jars and lids and sterilize in any available way. Put pieces of watermelon pulp into sterile jars with a slotted spoon. Bring the remaining syrup to a boil, cook for one minute and fill it with watermelons in jars.
