White grape compote in a 3 liter jar for the winter

This drink prepares very quickly and turns out to be incredibly tasty. The grapes are laid out in jars and covered with sugar and citric acid. Then everything is poured with boiling water, rolled up, shaken and left to cool completely.

First, we thoroughly rinse the grapes under running water. Then we separate the berries from the branches, transfer them to a colander and leave until all the excess liquid has drained off.

We wash the cans well under hot water along with soda, after which we sterilize them in any convenient way. We also boil the lids. We lay out the grapes on the banks. It should occupy at least 1/3 of their volume.

We fill the berries with granulated sugar and also add citric acid.

We boil water and pour it grapes with sugar to the very brim so that it spills slightly.

Close the compote tightly with sterile lids. Wrap the jar with a towel and shake everything slightly so that the sugar and citric acid dissolve. Next, turn it upside down, wrap it in a blanket or bedspread and leave it for several hours or overnight until it cools completely. Store in a cellar or other dark, cool place.
