Lingonberry compote with orange for the winter

We suggest you prepare a healing drink according to the proposed recipe: with the addition of citrus fruits, the compote turns out to be rich and tasty. It is good for a festive table not only cold, but also hot.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
To roll compote, we need a 3-liter jar. We examine it for cracks or chips. If they are not there, then we first clean the jar and lid with soda, and then rinse and send for sterilization. We sterilize the jar for 20 minutes. Scald the lid with boiling water.
step 2 out of 5
Pour the lingonberries into a colander and rinse thoroughly with cool water so as not to damage the thin skin of the berries. Put clean and dried lingonberries in a jar.
step 3 out of 5
We wash the orange with running water. Wipe it off and cut it into round slices. We remove bones from them. Put the oranges in a jar with lingonberries.
step 4 out of 5
Pour sugar into the container. Then pour purified water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Pour the ingredients with boiling water.
step 5 out of 5
Cover the jar with a lid and roll it up. Turn it upside down, wrap it up with a blanket. Before you put the container with the compote for storage in a dark, cool place, let it cool completely. Compote should be infused for about two months.
Bon Appetit!
