We wash the pears thoroughly and cut them into large slices, after which we put them in a sterilized jar.

Pour boiling water over the pears and cover the jar with a lid. Leave the fruit to warm up for about 20 minutes.

Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar and put on fire. When the syrup boils, boil it for about 4 minutes.
