Whole pear compote for the winter in a 3-liter jar

Whole pear compote is well stored for a long time and turns out to be unusually tasty and very useful. You can use any pears for such a drink, because its main secret is whole fruits that retain all the taste and benefit.

We wash the pears, cut off the tails and set them to cook for about 10 minutes. We get the pears out of the water using a slotted spoon.

Put the pears in a sterilized jar, pour boiling water over and leave for about half an hour.

Pour the water from the jar into a saucepan, add sugar to it and bring the mixture to a boil. Then we boil the syrup for another 5 minutes.

Pour the syrup back into the jar, add citric acid.

Roll up the jar and leave to cool at room temperature.
