Cherry and apricot compote for the winter

A delicious refreshing drink is prepared without sterilization in a short time and can be stored for a long time if the container is properly prepared for sterilization: before heat treatment, containers must be cleaned and washed.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
The ingredients for making compote must be washed and sorted out. We revise the dried cherries. If there are rotten fruits, throw them away. We also remove the ponytails. It is acceptable if the apricots have a slightly juicy and soft barrel, the main thing is that the fruits are not rotten. Cut the apricots into two halves and remove the seeds.
step 2 out of 5
Now we process cans and lids for seaming compote. First, we clean them with soda powder, and then rinse them thoroughly. When this stage is completed and the jars are dry, we put them in the oven or microwave for sterilization.
step 3 out of 5
We put apricots and cherries on the bottom of the jars. Pour cold water into a saucepan. We have to bring it to a boil. When this happens, pour boiling water into jars, which we then cover with lids and leave for 15 minutes.
step 4 out of 5
Drain the juice from the cans back into the pot. Now the infusion must be brought to a boil along with the sugar. Pour it in and dissolve in boiling water.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the liquid into the jars again and immediately roll up the container. Store upside down until it cools under a warm blanket. Then we transfer it to the cellar.
Bon Appetit!
