Cherry compote with seeds in 2-liter jars for the winter

If the cherry crop is big and you need to prepare the fruits for future use, perhaps the easiest way is to roll up the compote. There is no need to remove the bones, and the cooking process itself is quite fast. The proportions in the recipe are for one two-liter can.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We sort out the cherries, remove the random garbage, cut off the stalks. Rinse the berries thoroughly and dry. We wash and sterilize jars and lids in any convenient way. We lay out the prepared pure cherries in sterile jars.
step 2 out of 6
We put water on the stove and bring to a boil.
step 3 out of 6
Fill the cherries with boiling water in such an amount that it reaches the neck of the jar. Cover the jar with a lid and leave for fifteen minutes to steam.
step 4 out of 6
Then we pour the water back into the pan, add granulated sugar into it, mix, put it on the stove and bring it to a boil again.
step 5 out of 6
Re-pour the cherries in the jar with boiling syrup and tighten with a sterile lid.
step 6 out of 6
We turn the jar upside down to check the tightness, cover it with a blanket and in this position we leave it to cool slowly. After cooling, remove the compote for storage in a dark, cool place.
Bon Appetit!
