Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
For compote, choose ripe and dense berries so that they keep their shape well in hot water and do not make the compote cloudy. Sort the berries thoroughly, rinse under running water and leave in a colander for 10 minutes to remove excess moisture. Just wash the jars for the preparation, you do not need to sterilize them. Put the prepared blueberries in jars, filling them only halfway.
step 2 out of 5
To determine the amount of syrup, pour the blueberries in a jar with clean water, then drain and determine their volume. Pour the calculated amount of water into a saucepan and boil the syrup at the rate of 200 g of sugar per 1 liter of water. You can reduce the amount of sugar to 100 g per liter or increase it to your liking. Boil the syrup for 5 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
Then pour boiling syrup over the blueberries in the jars and cover them with clean lids.
step 4 out of 5
Sterilize blueberry compote according to the general principles of sterilizing blanks for 20 minutes for one-liter jars.
step 5 out of 5
Then seal the jars hermetically, cool upside down and under a warm blanket, and then transfer to a storage location.
Delicious and successful preparations!
