Black grape compote with orange for the winter

With the addition of orange, the drink is richer and more interesting. For more piquancy, mint and cinnamon can be added to the compote. It also makes an excellent base for hot drinks such as mulled wine.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
First, you should rinse the grape bunches with running water. We are waiting for the liquid to drain. We remove the grapes from the twigs. We set aside the required amount of fruit without rot and damage.
step 2 out of 5
The orange must first be scalded with boiling water, and then rinsed and allowed to dry. Now it should be peeled from the peel and white films. Separate half of the orange slices and cut them into slices.
step 3 out of 5
We clean the jar and the lid for seaming with soda and rinse. Then we sterilize. Put grapes and orange slices in a container.
step 4 out of 5
Pour purified water into a saucepan. First, bring it to a boil and then pour it into a jar. Cover it with a lid and leave for 5-7 minutes.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the infusion back into the pot and add sugar, orange zest, cinnamon and mint to it. We boil the fill for about two minutes. Remove the zest and cinnamon from the infusion with a slotted spoon or spoon. Pour liquid into a jar, which we immediately roll up and turn over. After the compote has cooled down under a warm blanket, we transfer the container with the drink to a storage location.
Bon Appetit!
