Blackcurrant and cranberry compote

From any berries, you can prepare a large number of drinks, fruit drinks, compotes, as well as all kinds of tinctures, liqueurs, liqueurs and much more. I want to suggest making a healthy vitamin compote from black currant and cranberry. Such compote will well quench your thirst and give pleasure without harm to the body.

Prepare the necessary ingredients for the blackcurrant and cranberry compote. I also used the remains of viburnum. Sort out black currants, viburnum and cranberries, put in a sieve one by one, rinse thoroughly and let the excess liquid drain. If you use frozen berries like I do, you don't need to defrost them first.

Put a saucepan with the required amount of drinking water over medium heat, bring to a boil, add the prepared berries. Reduce heat and simmer, covered for 3-5 minutes.

Remove from heat, open the lid, add the required amount of granulated sugar. Adjust the amount of granulated sugar depending on your own taste preferences. Cover and leave to cool completely for about 1.5-2 hours.

If desired, strain the present vitamin compote through a fine sieve. Serve fragrant blackcurrant and cranberry compote in beautiful glasses. Store the compote in the refrigerator. Chilled, the healthy drink will become even tastier and richer.
