Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Wash currants and raspberries with cool water. Then, when the berries are dry, it is necessary to free the currants from the branches to which it is attached. We examine the raspberries. If there are stalks, remove them and check the berries for rot and worms.
step 2 out of 5
The next stage is the preparation of the can and lid for seaming compote. First, we clean and wash all the necessary dishes, and then sterilize them over steam or in the oven.
step 3 out of 5
Now pour cold water into a saucepan. While the liquid reaches a boil, let's start laying the berries on the bottom of the jar. We do this carefully so as not to crush the berries with our hands. Pour currants and raspberries in a jar with ready-made boiling water.
step 4 out of 5
We cover the jar with a lid. It is necessary for the berries to warm up for 15 minutes. Then pour the colored liquid back into the saucepan and bring it to a boil with the required amount of sugar. We check if it has dissolved.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the syrup into a jar and roll it up immediately. We twist the jar in our hands. Turn the lid down and leave it in this position at room temperature. We cover with a blanket.
Bon Appetit!
