Blackcurrant and apple compote in a 3-liter jar for the winter

Blackcurrant and apple compote has a delicate and pleasant taste and is easy to prepare. So that its dominant flavor does not prevail in the compote, they put it in a jar in a small amount. Compote is prepared only with double filling or sterilization, since their pulp and peel are dense. For a delicious compote, apples and currants must be ripe in order to maximize their aroma in the preparation.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
First of all, prepare the required amount of berries, apples, sugar and jars for preparing compote. Apples may not be very beautiful, because we will cut them into pieces. Rinse the jars well in advance with baking soda. Rinse the apples and currants well, cut the apples into pieces of any shape and size.
step 2 out of 6
Then, in any way convenient for you, sterilize the cans and lids and immediately put clean water to boil for the first filling.
step 3 out of 6
Put apple slices in sterile jars and add 2 tbsp. l. black currant.
step 4 out of 6
Then fill them with boiling water. Cover the jars with lids and leave for 20 minutes to infuse.
step 5 out of 6
After this time, pour the calculated amount of granulated sugar into the saucepan and pour water from the jars into it through a special lid. Stir everything so that the sugar dissolves completely, and boil the syrup by boiling it for 3-4 minutes.
step 6 out of 6
With boiling syrup, pour over again, apples and currants, filling them to the very top. Close the cans tightly immediately and do not forget to check the sealing tightness. Then put them on the lids, and cover with any "fur coat" overnight. Blackcurrant and apple compote is ready.
