Blackberry compote without sterilization for the winter in jars

The berries are laid out in jars and poured with boiling water for 6 hours. The finished broth is poured into a saucepan and boiled there along with sugar. Then everything is poured back to the blackberry and rolled up.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
We carefully sort out the blackberries, getting rid of excess garbage. Next, wash them under running water, remove the stalks and put them in a colander so that all the liquid is glass.
step 2 out of 6
Wash the jars well with soda and fill them with blackberries.
step 3 out of 6
We boil drinking water in a kettle and pour berries into it. Cover with a lid and let stand for about 6 hours to make a decoction.
step 4 out of 6
After this time, put a lid with holes on the jar and pour the resulting broth into a suitable saucepan.
step 5 out of 6
Pour granulated sugar there and set on fire. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 6 out of 6
Pour the prepared syrup back to the blackberries and roll up the compote with lids. Let it cool completely and store it in a cool, dark place. We take it out in winter, pour it into glasses and enjoy a delicious healthy drink. Bon Appetit!
