Blackberry and orange compote for the winter

The washed blackberries are placed in a sterilized jar along with orange slices. Everything is covered with sugar and boiled water. The compote is rolled up with a lid and left to cool completely. It turns out a delicious compote with a pleasant citrus flavor.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
For a start, we sort out the blackberry well, remove the damaged berries and thoroughly rinse it under running cold water. Then we throw it back in a colander and let all the excess liquid drain. We sterilize the compote jar in a convenient way and carefully put the berries there.
step 2 out of 7
Cut half an orange into half rings and put them in a jar with a blackberry.
step 3 out of 7
We fill up everything with 250 grams of granulated sugar.
step 4 out of 7
Next, in a deep container or in a kettle, boil drinking water and carefully pour it into a jar with ingredients so that it does not burst.
step 5 out of 7
We close the jar with a lid, which has been boiled in boiling water in advance, and slightly shake it so that all the granulated sugar dissolves.
step 6 out of 7
Now we turn the compote upside down, wrap it in a blanket or blanket and leave it for several hours until it cools completely.
step 7 out of 7
We send it to a cool dark place for storage. We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and enjoy a delicious, and most importantly healthy drink. Bon Appetit!
