Blackberry and apple compote in a 3-liter jar for the winter

Apples, along with blackberries and a small amount of dried apricots, are placed in a saucepan. Sugar is added to them and everything is filled with water. Compote is brought to a boil, after which it is poured into cans and rolled up.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Wash the apples thoroughly, cut out the core and cut them into small slices. You can also peel off the rind if desired. We place them in a deep saucepan in which the compote will be cooked.
step 2 out of 6
Dried apricots are also washed and finely chopped. We send it to the apples. You can not use dried apricots at all or replace it with something else, but thanks to it, the drink will acquire a zest.
step 3 out of 6
We sort out the blackberry and get rid of rotten or damaged berries. We rinse it under cool water and put it in a colander so that all the excess liquid is glass. We transfer it to a saucepan. More berries can be added if desired to give the compote a more blackberry flavor.
step 4 out of 6
Now fill in all the ingredients with granulated sugar. You can also use cane sugar, but you need less.
step 5 out of 6
Pour in drinking water and put the pan on the fire. Bring to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes. Then pour into a pre-sterilized jar and roll up the lid. Turn it upside down, wrap it in a towel or blanket and leave it overnight.
step 6 out of 6
Now we put the compote in a place suitable for storage. We take it out in winter, pour it into glasses and enjoy the resulting drink. Bon Appetit!
