Blackberry compote with other berries for the winter

First, sugar syrup is cooked and blackberries, strawberries, grapes and apples are sent to it. Everything boils for about 5 minutes, after which it is poured into cans and rolled up.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We used frozen strawberries. Therefore, we take it out of the freezer in advance so that it melts a little. We sort out the blackberry and rinse it thoroughly under running water. Then we put it in a colander and let all the liquid drain.
step 2 out of 5
Wash the grapes under cool water and remove each berry from the branch.
step 3 out of 5
The apples are also thoroughly washed, cut out the core and cut into large pieces. They can also be peeled if the skin feels too thick.
step 4 out of 5
Pour granulated sugar into a deep saucepan and fill it with water. We put on fire, bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then we throw in blackberries, grapes, strawberries and chopped apples. Bring to a boil again and cook for another 5 minutes.
step 5 out of 5
Turn off the heat and cover the pan with a lid. Let the compote brew a little and then pour it into clean jars and roll up the lids. Turn it upside down, wrap it in a towel or blanket and let it cool completely. Store in a cool, dark place. We take it out in winter and pour it into glasses. Bon Appetit!
