Blackberry compote in 2 liter jars for the winter

Blackberries are poured with boiling water for 3 minutes, after which the resulting broth is boiled in a saucepan. The berries are covered with sugar, and everything is filled with boiling liquid. The compote is rolled up with lids and left to cool completely.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 7
We sort out the blackberries well and get rid of all the garbage. Next, we rinse it under running water and put it in a colander so that all the water is glass.
step 2 out of 7
Thoroughly wash a two-liter jar and pour berries into it. You can add more of them than in the recipe. Then the compote will turn out to be more saturated. At this time, separately boil drinking water in a saucepan.
step 3 out of 7
Fill the jar with boiling water about half, cover it with a lid and let it stand for about 3 minutes to make a broth.
step 4 out of 7
Pour the resulting broth into a saucepan and add the remaining volume of water to it. Bring to a boil. Pour granulated sugar to the berries.
step 5 out of 7
Fill the berries with sugar with boiling liquid and roll the compote with a lid.
step 6 out of 7
Turn the jar upside down, wrap it in a blanket or towel and let it stand in this way for 12 hours.
step 7 out of 7
We send the cooled compote for storage in a dark, cool place. We take it out in winter, pour it into glasses and enjoy a delicious drink. Bon Appetit!
