Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
To prepare the compote, which will be stored rolled up in a jar, you must first boil the sugar syrup. To do this, pour sugar into a saucepan. If you want the drink to last longer, you can add a pinch of citric acid as a natural preservative.
step 2 out of 5
Pour sugar with water and put on fire. While stirring constantly, bring the mixture to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. During this time, the sugar will have to completely dissolve, and the liquid will become thicker and more viscous.
step 3 out of 5
Sort the berries thoroughly and rinse beforehand. Rotten and unripe should not come across among them, because this can spoil the taste of the entire seaming. Tear off the sepals from the berries, put the blackberries in a saucepan with syrup and cook for 7-10 minutes, then remove from heat.
step 4 out of 5
The bank must first be sterilized. This can be done in many ways, choose the most convenient for you. The main thing is to let the container dry and cool. Gently pour the berry syrup into the jar. Do this in several passes with short breaks so that the glass has time to warm up and does not crack. If you suddenly boiled the syrup too much, you can add regular boiling water on top. The liquid level in the can should be up to the beginning of the neck.
step 5 out of 5
Roll the jar on a turnkey basis, lay it on its side, or turn it upside down. Then wrap the top with a blanket and leave to cool completely.
Bon Appetit!
