Pear and raspberry compote in a 3-liter jar for the winter

Raspberries are an excellent natural sweetener. However, for balance, pears with a slight sourness and pleasant astringency are the best suited. Thus, we have filled this compote with the enchanting notes of these two components.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Initially, we will prepare all the ingredients that we need to make compote. We wash the pears very thoroughly and chop not very finely.
step 2 out of 5
First of all, we sort out raspberries and only then rinse them. To ensure that the berries are clean and without worms, they can be soaked in salted water.
step 3 out of 5
Pour the required amount of water into a saucepan and add sugar, mix everything well and send it to the fire. As soon as the syrup boils, remove it from the heat.
step 4 out of 5
In parallel with the preparation of the ingredients, we sterilize the jars previously washed with soda. They can be sent to the oven, microwave, or sterilized using steam.
step 5 out of 5
First put pears on the bottom of the cans and only then raspberries. Following the fruits and berries, pour in boiling syrup and roll up with a kitchen key with sterile lids.
Enjoy your meal!
