The same compote, which is flawless. It has everything from tender and sweet pear to sour cherry with its subtle bitterness. And for integrity and completeness, we prepare a sweet syrup from water and a small amount of sugar.

First of all, let's prepare fruits and berries. We wash everything well, dry it. Then we divide the pear fruits into several quarters and remove the core with seeds from them.

Remove the seeds from the washed and dried cherries using a regular hairpin. If desired, for the preparation of compote, you can use absolutely whole and not deformed berries.

In parallel with the preparation of all components, we sterilize a three-liter jar with an iron lid.

To prepare the syrup, dissolve granulated sugar in two liters of water and bring to a boil. After 1-2 minutes, turn off the content.

Put the pears on the bottom of the sterilized jar, then the prepared cherries and fill the entire contents with the freshly prepared syrup. This completes all the main stages. We roll up the compote with a sterilized lid and cool to room temperature, wrapping it in a blanket.
