Pear compote in a 3-liter jar without sterilization for the winter

Due to the absence of subsequent sterilization, pears remain strong, crispy and acquire a caramel taste due to the sweet syrup prepared on the basis of pear broth and granulated sugar. This compote is suitable for people of all ages, including small children. It will be especially useful if you own your own harvest of this fruit.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We rinse the pears thoroughly so that the peel is absolutely clean. You can use a sponge or brush.
step 2 out of 5
Then we heat water in a deep saucepan and lower all the pears into it. From the moment they boil, cook them for 15-20 minutes, gradually reducing the heat to a minimum.
step 3 out of 5
We pass to such an important stage as the preparation of cans. To do this, first wash the jar with a lid with soda, dry it and only then sterilize it for several minutes. We will be using a microwave.
step 4 out of 5
We follow the cooking of the pears and after 15 minutes we remove them from the broth, then put them on the bottom of the cans. And pour sugar into a warm broth and bring the contents to a boil. Then turn it off, add citric acid to your taste and stir well.
step 5 out of 5
Pour our pears with a ready-made sweet and sour broth and close the compote with an ordinary screw cap. After cooling, we store it in the refrigerator for no more than three months.
Enjoy your meal!
