Pear compote with cinnamon for the winter

Wash and sterilize compote jars, boil the lids.

Pour water into a saucepan and add sugar, boil the syrup.

Wash the pears, cut large fruits into quarters. Put pears and half cinnamon sticks in each jar, pour hot syrup. Cover the jars with lids and leave for 10 minutes. Then pour the syrup from the cans back into the pan, bring it to a boil and re-pour into the jars, leave for 10 minutes.

Drain the syrup one last time into a saucepan, add the juice of one lemon, bring to a boil and pour over the jars. Roll up the lids and leave the compote to cool completely at room temperature.
