Sweet, aromatic pear compote is prepared with the addition of honey, which gives it a beautiful golden color and delicate aftertaste. In such a compote, all the beneficial properties of pears are preserved due to blanching, and it is stored for a long time and in almost any conditions.

We prepare all the products necessary for cooking.

We wash the pears, cut them into slices and put them in a saucepan, where we blanch for about 5 minutes, adding citric acid.

For the syrup, pour a liter of water, sugar and honey into a saucepan. Bring the syrup to a boil and remove from heat.

Put the pears in a 2-liter jar or put them in two-liter jars. We also put lemon.
