Pear compote with mint for the winter

The easiest seaming that can be done for the winter is compote. You will need some pears, water, and sugar. Add a few sprigs of fresh mint to fill the drink with freshness.

Pour water into a metal basin, add sugar and citric acid. Bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.

Wash the pears, make several punctures on them with toothpicks. Place pears in boiling syrup, bring to a boil, and remove from heat. Place the lid on the basin and let the pears cool completely. Then repeat this procedure one more time.

Place pears and mint leaves in clean, dry jars.

Boil the syrup for another 5 minutes after boiling and pour it over the jars. Roll up the lids, turn the cans upside down and leave to cool completely. Store the compote in a cool place.
