Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
So for our compote we need whole pears, we need to rinse and dry them well so that the peel is, in fact, clean.
step 2 out of 5
Then we put them in a clean jar, which was previously washed with soda. Pour citric acid here and pour everything with boiling water. We leave it like this for 30-40 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
During this time, the pears had time to warm up, and the water was able to absorb their aroma. Pour this water into a saucepan, add granulated sugar and mix well until the sugar is completely dissolved. Then bring the syrup to a boil and turn off the heat.
step 4 out of 5
We return the finished sweet broth to the jars of pears, pouring it to the very top.
step 5 out of 5
We roll up the jar with a sterilized lid and leave to cool, wrapped in a blanket. This will take less than one day. The compote itself, prepared according to this recipe, costs quite well both at room temperatures and at lower temperatures.
Enjoy your meal!
