Far Eastern raisin compote for the winter

The berries are placed in jars and filled with sugar syrup. The compote is rolled up and left to cool completely. It turns out to be very tasty, and also contains a large amount of vitamins.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
To begin with, we sort out the raisins with dogwood and cut off the tails. Next, we thoroughly rinse the berries under running water, put them in a colander and leave until all the excess liquid has drained off.
step 2 out of 6
We wash the cans well under hot water with soda, after which we sterilize them in any convenient way. With a limited amount of time, you can simply roll them in boiling water. We also boil the lids in a separate container.
step 3 out of 6
We fill clean jars with raisins with dogwood about 1/5. You can fill to the top to get a concentrated compote, which in winter you just need to dilute with boiling water.
step 4 out of 6
Pour drinking water into a separate saucepan, add granulated sugar and set on fire. Bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 5 out of 6
Pour boiling syrup into jars of berries and close them tightly with lids.
step 6 out of 6
Turn it upside down, wrap it in a towel or blanket and leave it to cool completely for several hours or overnight. Now we send the compote for storage in a cellar or another dark and cool place. We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and serve a delicious vitamin drink to the table. Bon Appetit!
