Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
To make a sugar-free compote, choose medium-sized berries that are not overripe, otherwise they will lose their shape in the compote. Place them in a colander and rinse with cold water carefully so as not to damage.
step 2 out of 8
Remove the sepals from the washed berries.
step 3 out of 8
Rinse compote jars with warm water and soda and sterilize in any way convenient for you.
step 4 out of 8
Put the prepared berries in sterile jars, filling them almost to the top (as much as fit).
step 5 out of 8
In a separate saucepan, boil clean water at the rate of 0.5 liters per jar.
step 6 out of 8
Pour boiling water over strawberries in jars and cover them with boiled lids.
step 7 out of 8
Sterilize the strawberry compote in a separate saucepan, covering the bottom with a towel. Sterilize one-liter jars within 15 minutes of boiling the water in a saucepan and over low heat so that the water in the saucepan boils moderately.
step 8 out of 8
Then roll up the compote immediately. Flip the jars onto the lids and cover with a warm blanket. Transfer the cooled compote to storage in a dark place.
