Red grape compote for a 3 liter jar for the winter

The grapes are laid out in jars and poured with boiling water. After 15 minutes, all the liquid is poured into a saucepan, sugar is added to it and everything is brought to a boil. The berries are poured with the resulting syrup, and the compote is rolled. It turns out a very tasty and rich drink.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
First, thoroughly rinse the grapes under running water. Then we put it in a colander and let it stand in this way until all the excess liquid has drained off.
step 2 out of 6
We wash the cans well under hot water with soda, after which we sterilize them in any convenient way. We put the branches of grapes on the bottom.
step 3 out of 6
Boil drinking water in a suitable saucepan and pour boiling water over the berries. Cover the jar with a lid and let it stand for 15-20 minutes to make a decoction.
step 4 out of 6
After the necessary time, we put on a special lid with holes on the jar and pour all the liquid back into the pan in which the water was boiled. Add granulated sugar and set on fire. Bring to a boil, then cook for a couple of minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 5 out of 6
Fill the grapes with the resulting sugar syrup and roll up the compote with sterile lids. Next, turn the cans upside down, wrap them up in a towel or blanket and leave to cool completely for several hours or overnight. We remove the resulting drink for storage in a dark and cool place.
step 6 out of 6
We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and serve delicious, rich compote to the table. Bon Appetit!
