Raspberries and red currants must be sorted out. For compote, leave only whole, undamaged berries. Rinse the red currant berries. Rinse raspberries in water if necessary.

Pour water into a saucepan and boil it. We put clean berries in jars and fill them with boiling water. We cover the jars with a lid and leave in this form for 15 minutes.
