At first glance, it may seem like a complete incompatibility between sweet berries and sour lemon, which is certainly an erroneous myth that needs to be dispelled as soon as possible. Such a drink retains the beneficial properties of each component, which are simply necessary for the body in winter. Also, an excellent serving option would be compote with honey or dried fruit.

Initially, rinse and dry the raspberries. In the preparation process, we try not to deform the fruits of the berries so that they please not only with their taste, but also with their appearance.

Then we wash the lemon and cut it into slices at random. If possible, remove the bones from the lobules.

Pour water into a saucepan and dissolve granulated sugar in it. Bring the syrup to a boil and dip the berries in it. Cook the raspberries for 15 minutes, then add the lemon there and continue to boil for 2-3 minutes.

Before filling the jars with compote, they must be well rinsed and sterilized. In this case, you can use absolutely any type of sterilization. Do not forget to take time and lids.

Hot compote is poured into sterilized jars, and, covering with a lid, we lower them into a saucepan with boiling water.
