Raspberry and mint compote for a 3 liter jar for the winter

Three liters of freshness and good mood will be in your kitchen if you start making this compote. Peppermint water quickly becomes saturated with raspberry juice and turns into an incredibly aromatic drink that can be served either alone or in tandem with homemade cakes.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Since it is important that dirt and any debris do not get into the compote, we carefully sort out the raspberries and then rinse them under running water. To prepare the compote, the berries must be dried by throwing them in a colander.
step 2 out of 5
While the berries are drying, rinse the fresh mint leaves. Mint can be used with or without a sprig. It will not affect the taste in any way.
step 3 out of 5
The next step is to rinse and sterilize the cans. You can use any way you are familiar with.
step 4 out of 5
At the bottom of the prepared jars, put raspberries, mint leaves and add granulated sugar. In parallel with this, we collect water in a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the contents of the jar with the resulting boiling water and cover it with a lid. Before sending the compote for storage, we sterilize it again by dropping the jar into a pot of boiling water. We heat the contents for about 15 minutes, after which we roll up the raspberry compote with a lid, check for leaks and cool.
Enjoy your meal!
