Seedless nectarine compote for a 3 liter jar for the winter

The chopped nectarines are boiled for 20 minutes, after which they are transferred to a separate container. Add sugar to the water, and everything is brought to a boil. The resulting syrup is poured over the fruit and the compote is rolled

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
Before starting cooking, we sterilize a three-liter jar in a way convenient for you, and boil the lids in a ladle. We wash the nectarines thoroughly under water and dry them on a paper towel. We cut them in half and remove the bones.
step 2 out of 5
Transfer the fruit to a saucepan and fill it with water. We put on fire and bring to a boil. Then we reduce the temperature and cook for 15-20 minutes.
step 3 out of 5
Turn off the heat and transfer the nectarines to a sterilized jar. Add granulated sugar to the water, mix, bring to a boil and cook for a couple of minutes until the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 4 out of 5
Fill the slices of nectarines with the resulting sugar syrup to the very top.
step 5 out of 5
Cover the jar with a lid and roll it up. Then turn it upside down, wrap it in a towel or blanket and leave it overnight until it cools completely. We send for storage in a dark, cool place. We open it in winter, pour it into glasses and serve a stunning nectarine compote. Bon Appetit!
