Sea buckthorn is a very valuable berry in terms of the content of vitamins and microelements. Collecting it is not very convenient, sorting out quite troublesome, but worth it. A couple of healing jars of the blank should definitely be rolled up for the winter for the period of colds.

We sort out the sea buckthorn from accidental inclusions, place it in a colander and rinse it under running water.

In a saucepan, bring an arbitrary amount of water to a boil and place the berries in a colander in boiling water. Blanch the sea buckthorn in this way for thirty seconds and take it out.

We wash and sterilize jars and lids in any way possible. We put the blanched sea buckthorn in jars.

Bring water in the specified amount to a boil, add sugar, boil for a couple of minutes and pour the sea buckthorn in jars with the resulting boiling syrup.

Tightly tighten the jars with compote with lids. Then we turn them upside down to check the tightness.

Wrap in a blanket and leave to cool slowly. After cooling, we remove the seaming for storage in the refrigerator.
