If you are a fan of refreshing and invigorating drinks, then this recipe is for you. The taste of the compote turns out to be very unusual and rich. Having prepared such a drink once, you definitely decide to repeat it again.

Let's start sterilizing the cans. We wash each can of soda or detergent. We scald the jars and lids with boiling water. Now we need to sterilize them with steam. To do this, use a kettle or a regular saucepan. We transfer the cans to a kitchen towel, which must be spread out in advance. You do not need to wipe them off.
Let's move on to preparing sugar syrup for our compote. Fill a small pot with water and transfer it to the stove. When the water boils, we begin to gradually add granulated sugar to it. Remember to stir the syrup constantly. We add 2 tablespoons of vanilla sugar to it, which will give our compote a pleasant aroma. Add citric acid as the last ingredient. Stir the sugar syrup well again. When it's completely cooked, remove the pot from the stove. Strain the solution using a sieve or regular cheesecloth.
We fill the jars with peaches. Add mint leaves to them. Fill the fruit with sugar syrup. Make sure the jars do not crack. Screw on the caps. Turn the jars over and place them on a towel. Be sure to wrap them in a warm blanket or towel. When the jars are completely cool, transfer them to a cooler place.
