Peach compote as a tasty and juicy southern fruit is loved by many. Peaches contain little sugar and there is no acid in them, so the compote from them needs additional sterilization, because you want to keep it for the winter. For compote, choose dense and not overripe fruits and most often canned with the peel so that they do not become porridge.

Then we sterilize the peach compote. To do this, put a jar of compote in a large saucepan, lay a towel under it, and fill it with warm water up to the level of the jar's hangers. Sterilize over low heat and count the time from the beginning of the boil of water. It depends on the volume of the container. For a 3-liter can, it takes 35–40 minutes, for a liter can, 12–15 minutes.
