A simple and quick option for fruit seaming for the winter from apples with the addition of citrus fruits. The finished compote has a very unobtrusive taste and rich aroma with hints of orange.

We wash the citrus thoroughly under running water, remove the skin, but do not throw it away, since it will still be useful to us. We disassemble the peeled pulp into slices and put it on the bottom of a sterile jar.

We also wash the apples, remove the stalk and cut into quarters, remove the seeds. Add the chopped fruits to the jar and fill with boiling water, leave to warm up for 10-15 minutes.

After the time has elapsed, pour the solution into a saucepan of a suitable size and send it to the stove.

Add granulated sugar, orange peel to the water and mix thoroughly. We continue cooking for 10-12 minutes after boiling.

Remove from heat, catch the peel and fill the jars with syrup to the very top, tighten the lids. To check the tightness, turn it upside down, wrap it in a blanket and leave it for a day.
