Compote from ranetki and oranges in a 3-liter jar for the winter

A drink made from garden apples with the addition of any citrus can be safely called "Tropical", since the taste of such a compote is very much reminiscent of multifruit juice from a store. But the main difference is that in a self-made product, there is certainly not a single preservative and dye.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
Before proceeding with the direct preparation of the drink, it is advisable to prepare the container for seaming: we sterilize the cans in any way convenient for you. It will not be difficult to do this in the oven - we rinse the cans with clean water and send them to the oven for 15-20 minutes.
step 2 out of 8
We wash all fruit components thoroughly and dry them with paper towels or chintz cloth.
step 3 out of 8
Cut the apples into thin slices, be sure to remove the core and seeds.
step 4 out of 8
Cut the citruses into rings or half rings, depending on the size of the fruit. Scald the chopped fruits with boiling water - this is done so that after a longer heat treatment, the ingredients do not taste bitter.
step 5 out of 8
Put apples and several rings of lemon and orange in a previously sterilized jar.
step 6 out of 8
Fill with boiling water and cover with a nylon lid on top and leave to warm for 15-20 minutes.
step 7 out of 8
After warming up, pour the liquid into a saucepan and add granulated sugar, stirring occasionally, bring to a boil and cook for 3-4 minutes.
step 8 out of 8
Pour the filled container with boiling syrup and immediately roll it up. We turn the cans upside down and cover with a blanket until completely cooled. Bon Appetit!
