Apples are poured with boiling water and then the resulting broth is poured into a saucepan. Sugar, citric acid are added to it and everything is brought to a boil. The syrup is sent back to the ranetki and the compote is rolled up. It turns out to be very tasty and moderately sweet.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 8
First, pour water into a deep saucepan, put it on fire and bring to a boil. At this time, we sort out the ranetki and select whole, undamaged fruits from them. Thoroughly rinse them under running water and put them in a colander so that all excess liquid is glass. Then we pierce the apples with a toothpick or fork in several places so that the peel does not burst when heated.
step 2 out of 8
We fill the jar with ranetki about 1/3. You can put more of them to make the compote more saturated.
step 3 out of 8
Pour boiling water into a jar of apples to the very brim.
step 4 out of 8
Cover with a lid and let stand in this way for 15 minutes to make a broth.
step 5 out of 8
We put a lid with holes on the jar and drain all the liquid into a saucepan in which the water was boiled.
step 6 out of 8
We pour granulated sugar, citric acid there and put on fire. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally, and cook for about two minutes, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
step 7 out of 8
Pour the resulting sugar syrup back into the jar with ranetki to the brim. We roll up the compote with a lid.
step 8 out of 8
Turn the jar upside down, cover it with a blanket or towel and leave it to cool completely. We send for storage in a dark, cool place. We get it in the winter. pour it into glasses and enjoy an incredibly tasty compote. Bon Appetit!
