Ranetki compote with cinnamon for the winter

Everyone has probably tried apple strudel with cinnamon, but the compote with the addition of this spice, no doubt, can surprise your family. The cooking process practically does not differ in any way from rolling the usual compote with apples, however, the taste characteristics are significantly different.

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 5
We wash the ranetki, removing the tails and traces of decay, if any. Since I have large apples, I cut them into quarters, but if you have small fruits - you can leave them whole - this is a matter of taste and personal preference.
step 2 out of 5
Bring about 3 liters of water to a boil over low heat.
step 3 out of 5
Pour apples into boiling water, add a cinnamon stick and add half of the sugar, cook for about 30-35 minutes. At this time, cans and lids can be sterilized.
step 4 out of 5
After removing from the stove, drain the semi-finished compote through a sieve, and gently spread the soft apples on the bottom of the cans. We return the liquid to the stove, add the second part of the sugar and cook for 5-7 minutes after boiling.
step 5 out of 5
Pour the finished compote into jars and roll it up, or immediately pour it into a jug and enjoy!
