Ranetki compote with mint for the winter

A pleasant refreshing drink can be prepared from what grows in your own garden. Sweet paradise apples with the addition of fresh mint together "create" a cocktail rather than just a compote. Everyone should try it!

Ingredients

Cooking process

step 1 out of 6
Ranetki thoroughly rinse, and, without removing the skin, cut into quarters. Be sure to take out the core and seeds. It is better to take apples with a dense texture, not overripe (for better preservation of the slices during conservation).
step 2 out of 6
In a saucepan of a suitable size, boil about 2.5 liters of water with the addition of granulated sugar and add the chopped fruit.
step 3 out of 6
Add one tablespoon of cherry jam (for taste), mix and cook for 20-25 minutes until the fruit is soft.
step 4 out of 6
Dip mint leaves into a glass of boiling water and leave to infuse for at least 12-15 minutes.
step 5 out of 6
Add the mint water to the saucepan where the ranetki are boiled.
step 6 out of 6
Pour the finished compote into decanters or sterile jars and roll up. Preservation is stored quietly throughout the year. Bon Appetit!
