Rhubarb and orange compote

Compote with a pleasant sour taste and citrus aroma will perfectly remove thirst on a hot day. This drink will give you vivacity and a great mood.

Pour water into a saucepan, add sugar, rosemary branch and boil.

Pour boiling water over one orange and remove the zest from it with plates. Peel the second fruit and squeeze the juice from both. Add zest and juice to hot syrup, stir and cook over low heat.

Remove the peel from the third orange, cut into small pieces and distribute in sterile jars. Remove the top layer from the rhubarb, cut into medium pieces and also place in the jars.

Pour the boiling syrup into the jars to the top and close the lids. Leave in a warm place to cool comfortably (6 hours.).
