Rhubarb and strawberry compote

Rhubarb and strawberries make the perfect homemade drink for hot weather. The compote turns out to be fragrant, tasty, with a pleasant sourness. Nice replacement for store soda.

Wash the rhubarb and cut into small cubes.

Pour the chopped rhubarb with three liters of water and place on the stove. At this stage, you can add sugar. Bring the contents to a boil, then reduce the heat.

Cut the juicy berries into slices and put them in the compote. We continue to cook for 20-25 minutes.
