Rhubarb and mint compote

Nowadays, it is not so easy to find rhubarb compote on the market, although there were times of particular popularity of this product. But, it can be easily prepared at home. Such a compote is quick to cook, and healthy, and will quench your thirst.

Rhubarb cuttings, mint branch and lemon, rinse well.

Cut the rhubarb into small pieces.

Put a pot of water on the fire, boil and add rhubarb and sugar to it. Cook for 10 minutes from simmering, add mint and lemon cut into thin circles.

Let the compote cool slightly and pour into glasses. You can serve the drink with ice, but then you should chill it in the refrigerator, or warm.
