Today we want to offer you a recipe for a delicious and aromatic assorted compote, which includes ripe plums, aromatic apples and juicy peaches. This seasonal fruit compote is a great alternative to single fruit compote. Adding one or two more types to the main type of fruit, you will get a wonderful preparation for the winter, rich in vitamins and summer aromas.

We wash all the fruits in running water, remove the leaves and stalks. Then we put them on a kitchen towel and leave for 10-15 minutes to dry.

Peel apples and peaches with a vegetable peeler, cut into 4-6 pieces and peel them.

We wash the compote jars with baking soda, rinse thoroughly with running water and sterilize over steam for 3-5 minutes. Then let the jars cool for a couple of mines and throw the prepared fruits into them.

Pour filtered water into a deep saucepan and set on fire. Add granulated sugar to the water, stir until dissolved and bring the syrup to a boil, boil for 1-2 minutes, then remove it from the heat.

Pour hot syrup into jars, cover them with boiled lids, cover with a terry towel and leave to blanch for 15-20 minutes.

After the indicated time, we open the jars, put on the nozzle with holes and pour the compote into the pan. We put on fire, bring the compote to a boil, boil for 2-3 minutes and pour into jars.

We seal the jars tightly with boiled lids, turn them upside down, check the tightness, wrap them with a terry towel and leave them to cool completely at room temperature. Then we remove the compote for storage in a dark, cool place.
